Good question.
There are posts tagged jpeg_artifacts that are far worse. You can barely see them on this one.

Not only it's progressive, also it hasn't high-saturated color which jpeg can't handle good.
although jpeg artifacts are clearly visible on this image for me (but it's photo realistic, so not ugly) (ﾟ∀ﾟ)
